The youths are researching on a disability they have encountered around them, that they wish to better understand, and respond to creatively.
The students from Dunman High School shared that they have friends with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and are interested to further their understanding on this condition.
While the students from Tanjong Katong Girls’ School want to focus on cerebral palsy, because they felt inspired by the stories that they have found and recognise a schoolmate with this disability as well.
This closed-door session was attended by special guests Debra and Ryan from Society Staples, Ian Leo our resource panelist, as well our collaborators from Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, who were there to offer insights, perspectives and encouragement to the youths.
